Taylor Swift's '1989' Album Will Be Streamed On Apple Music

She says it feels right to stream with Apple.

Last week, Taylor Swift penned an open letter to Apple Music about why she wouldn't be streaming her album, 1989, on the service, which was primarily because they weren't paying artists during the initial trial period. After Apple quickly changed their policy on that issue, T Swift has reversed her stance towards streaming 1989, and will now allow her project on the service, though it's not an exclusive deal like Apple has with Drake or Pharrell.

"This is simply the first time it's felt right in my gut to stream my album," Swift said. For Apple, this is a major win in the streaming wars, as they not get to stream the highest selling album of 2014 on their service, which is something that Spotify doesn't have. Apple Music officially launches to customers on June 30.
