Rihanna Gives An Update On the Status Of Her New Album

This month, NME is launching their new free, weekly magazine, which features Rihanna on the very first cover of the publication's new style. Included in the spread was a candid conversation with the pop star, where she finally gave an update on her long-awaited new album, which fans have been waiting on for over a year.

Though the issue doesn't come out until tomorrow, a few snippets of Rihanna's conversation have hit the web a little bit early. She apparently revealed that the album isn't finished yet, but an album to her isn't finished until she turns it in. "To me it's never done until it’s done," she said.

While it's no secret that Rihanna is working with Kanye West on the project, their work together is apparently part of the cause for the delay, mostly due to their hectic schedules. "We just have to wait to get back in the studio together," she said. "His schedule and mine are totally opposite right now, but I think this month we’ll be back in the studio."
