In recent years, the NFL has completely shied away from hip-hop acts for the Super Bowl halftime show, which is largely due to Janet Jackson's nipple slippage back in 2004. Well, it turns out that infamous incident may have not even happened if OutKast wouldn't have turned down the opportunity to play during the event.

In an interview on ESPN todayBig Boi said that he and André 3000 were offered the show, but they turned it down because André didn't want to shorten their songs for the performance. Big Boi said that he tried to change 3 Stacks' mind plenty of times leading up to the show, but he wasn't having it. Crazy how much history could have been changed with one decision. Instead of Janet's nipple slip, we could have had "Hey Ya!" and "The Way You Move." Insane.
