Last night, Nas took some time out of his evening to speak with Vibe about the horrific, racially charged shooting at a church in Charleston, S.C., which left nine innocent people dead. While Nas started the short interview talking about the need for more awareness around mental illness, he also discussed how this is a very serious time in America and racism is at the root of it. "How do make them more respectful of each other no matter what race they are? Racism is rotting America. It’s been rotting America since its inception. This is a very serious time that we’re moving into in 2015," Nas said. The full interview can be seen above.
