Killer Mike Keeps It All the Way Real About Race Issues and Bernie Sanders on 'The Late Show With Stephen Colbert'

Gotta love this dude.

Killer Mike appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert last night, and per usual with Mike, he dropped numerous gems throughout the interview. He talked about race issues in America, and how the problems aren't anything new and won't go away until the entire system allows changes to be made. "The same problems we're discussing today, we discussed in 1990, 1980, 1970, and 1960."

Mike also talked about his appreciation for presidential candidate Bernie Sanders and shared some advice that he gives to college kids often, and that is to go out and mentor a younger kid with a completely different background and help them prepare for college the best they can. "Teach them the path you were taught to help them become a successful human being," Mike said. On the music side, Mike confirmed that Run the Jewels 3 is currently in the works and that the duo is excited to return to Coachella this year.
