Drake and Future's What a Time To Be Alive project has been out for less than 24 hours, but there are already some early sales projections, and they're pretty huge. According to reports, the project, which is more of an album than a mixtape like Drake and Future say, is slated to move 500,000 units in the first week of sales.

Of note is the fact that they dropped the project two days after albums usually come out in light of Fridays being the new release dates. This will be Drake's second project of the year projected to sell over half a million units in the first week. It would also cement Future's monumental year that was already at peak levels with Beast Mode56 Nights, and DS2.

For comparison purposes that mean only what you make of them, the album is projected to sell more in its first week than Jay Z and Kanye West's collaborative album, Watch the Throne, sold in 2011. The official numbers won't be out until the end of this week, but it appears that Drake and Future hit a home run with the project.
