The legendary DJ Premier hasn't put out a new #Preemix in quite a while, but he ends the drought today with a new remix of Kanye West's The Life of Pablo track, "I Love Kanye." Seeing that the original version of 'Ye's song on the album features no beat, the song is basically an open invitation for producers to come in and do their thing, and since Preemo is one of the best to ever do it, it made total sense that he supplied his own production.
Preemo laced the track with some of his famous scratches on top of the bass-heavy production that he supplied for the Kanye verse that fits perfectly. With Premiere adding his own flavor to the track, maybe this will open the door to him getting some production on Kanye's next album, which he announced was coming this summer.
