Compton native, Boogie, may still be on the come up, but he's ready for the mainstream spotlight, and has signed a deal with Interscope Records. This is obviously a big move for Boogie, who has already made a notable splash in the industry with his hit, "Oh My," being one of the undisputed songs of the summer. Boogie has yet to announce his immediate plans under his new deal, but back in June, he dropped The Reach project, which was received with high praise from fans and critics.

Back in May, Complex sat down with Boogie, where he talked about the success of "Oh My," getting shot in his foot, how going to church helped his rapping, and much more. Revisit the interview below, and stay tuned for much more from Boogie as he embarks on his new journey with Interscope. To celebrate the deal, Boogie has also put "Oh My" on iTunes, which you can purchase here.
