Janet Jackson's Family Say Justin Timberlake Should Bring Her to the Super Bowl

Justin Timberlake is preparing to take the stage at the Super Bowl's halftime show this Sunday. But many, including Janet Jackson's family, are still angry with him for the 2004 Nipplegate incident where he exposed the star's breast on national television.

"If he’s such a gentleman, he’d make sure Janet [Jackson] is there," said Jackson's father, Joseph Jackson to the New York Post.

Another unnamed family member agreed: "He says they are good, but let’s see him prove it and bring her out."

In an interview with Zane Lowe's Beats 1, Timberlake addressed the backlash he's received since revealing that he'll be performing for one of America's most-watched events.

"It's just one of those things," said Timberlake "where you go, 'what do you want me to say, we not going to do that again.'" After the incident, Timberlake recalled that he had his "wires crossed."

"It’s just something that you have to look back on and go like, 'OK, well you know, you can’t change what’s happened but you can move forward and learn from it,'" he said.

This isn't the only controversy that's surrounded Timberlake. After starring in Woody Allen's Wonder Wheel, many criticized the singer for working for the alleged molester. Rose McGowan called him a hypocrite since he talked about supporting women in Hollywood against sexual assault but starred in the film.
