The former slam poet takes her sultry vocals and fiery flow to a new level on the record, which serves as a satisfying performance while fans hold out for her long-awaited upcoming mixtape, Telefone. The catchy track layers Noname's soulful voice atop a hypnotic beat and intimate lyrics: "I think this song is about redemption or a mother's intuition."
