YK Osiris has confirmed that he’s doing better after fans started to get worried following a concerning picture he posted to social media.

Earlier this week, the singer shared a photo of himself with a swollen face on his Instagram Story, alongside the caption: "Mannn I’m going through it." With no additional context, he left his supporters concerned about what he was going through.

Presumably, after seeing the internet collectively wonder if he was okay, Osiris cleared up the situation with an Instagram video on Saturday (July 5) revealing the cause of his alarming look.

"It was an allergic reaction," he said. "It went down though."

After turning his head so the camera could see that he looks normal now, Osiris wondered what could have triggered it. "I don’t know what I ate, but that shit looked bad," he admitted.

Now that he’s feeling better, Osiris can resume working on the music that he hasn’t released out of fear of "humiliation."

In April, Osiris live-streamed with Lil Rodney Son and opened up about how nervous he is about dropping new music because he doesn’t want to be humiliated. Lil Rodney Son, however, gave him some important advice about not giving into these thoughts.

"Put it like this right, we in a world where like everybody else, don’t give a fuck, so you can’t," said Lil Rodney. "It’s on the type of time where you care about what everybody else say you gonna always beat yourself up cause you’ll never be good for the next person’s standard."

Despite being a YK Osiris supporter, Lil Rodney changed his tune when the former Def Jam artist revealed that he was considering becoming a streamer like DDG; Lil Rodney advised him against doing it.

ComplexCon returns to Las Vegas on October 25–26, 2025, with over 300 brands and live performances by Young Thug, YEAT & Friends, Peso Pluma, Central Cee, Ken Carson, and more. Get your tickets now.
