Tasha K has given Nicki Minaj a shoutout for donating to her.
During a March 20 livestream, Tasha K happily mentioned Minaj apparently supporting her efforts to raise money to pay Cardi B the $4 million that she owes her.
“Shoutout to the queen, Nicki Minaj, for giving me a generous donation on TikTok,” Tasha said around the one-hour and 19-minute mark of her livestream. “Thank you so much, queen. She popped into my TikTok live, throwing money, just throwing money like I’m a stripper or something.”
Tasha went on to discuss the 2022 defamation lawsuit she lost to Cardi, which led to a judge ordering Tasha to pay the rapper $4 million in damages and legal fees.
“I had a 15-year plan, and I plan to keep it,” Tasha said. “But my freedom of speech is being impacted, and I don’t like that. I got a big mouth, and I gotta use it.”
Nicki and Cardi’s beef has been hot at times, cool at others, and sometimes very, very nasty. Last September, soon after Cardi released Am I The Drama?, the back-and-forth rekindled with some seriously hostile social media messages about each other’s children.
Earlier this month, Tasha launched her GoFundMe, asking fans for their support in helping her satisfy the judgment.
"For years, many of you have asked me to start a fundraiser to help me pay off the judgment against me. I always refused because I believed it was my responsibility to handle it on my own. But after many conversations with you all, I’m finally listening," Tasha wrote on the GoFundMe page.
Last February, Tasha and Cardi agreed to a bankruptcy settlement payment plan that said the media personality would pay the rapper nearly $1.2 million over the next five years in monthly installments under a Chapter 11 reorganization plan approved by a judge.
