Offset believes that he’s equal parts a romantic and a heartbreaker.
In the first episode of Complex's new series Interview With A Magician, Offset had his mind blown by magician Anna DeGuzman and answered a few questions about the kind of person he is in a relationship. When DeGuzman inquired whether he was a romantic or a heartbreaker, he replied suggesting he could do both equally. “I could be both,” he claimed.
When pressed for more information, Offset — who has merch available on our Complex Shop — opened up about his romantic side, revealing one of the most romantic things that he’s ever done. “Just deliver flowers for no celebration, for just no reason,” he revealed.
Offset also detailed his rose petal use; he loves to use them for a partner, but he doesn't want to be the person to lay them out. “I’m going to pay somebody to do it, but it’s going to get done,” he said.
Also during this episode of Interview With A Magician, DeGuzman correctly guessed Offset’s celebrity crush was Sabrina Carpenter.
While they were talking, DeGuzman wrote down a name on a piece of paper and then asked Offset about his celebrity crush, surprising him. Offset revealed that she was an artist, saying, “I just feel like, artistically, she got it all together.”
DeGuzman opened up her piece of paper to reveal the name on it to be Carpenter’s, prompting Offset to be shocked at her accuracy. “There’s no way,” he said in disbelief. “Never.”
Now that Offset’s relationship with Cardi B is in the rear view, the rapper is ready to move on to be part romantic, part heartbreaker. In April, Offset wrote on X that he wants “peace no smoke” with Cardi, suggesting that they can still be friends.
