NLE Choppa has announced his engagement to musician Erica Ravén.
The rapper posted images on Instagram showing him getting down on one knee and presenting an engagement ring to his now-fiancée.
Erica appeared shocked in one image, and in a later one showed off her ring finger with a bedazzled diamond ring.
NLE captioned the post with, “Now That’s Gangsta.”
The news of the engagement comes fast considering that rumors the couple was dating started just a few months ago. In October, the two posted a picture together that had many people speculating about a romance.
A few weeks before that, NLE reposted a picture of the two kissing that Erica initially shared on her Instagram story.
NLE's announcement comes amid a hectic holiday season for him. In October, he released the track “KO,” which took aim at NBA YoungBoy for the negative impact that NLE believes he’s had on the youth.
In a follow-up track in November, NLE doubled down with “Hello Revenge,” which featured even more confrontational lines about the rapper YoungBoy.
Both of these diss tracks culminated in NLE having a tense run-in with NBA Ben 10 and NBA OG 3three in Houston, causing the artists to go back and forth on social media afterward about what (or what didn’t) happen.
