Ja Rule Once Again Denies Murda Inc’s Involvement in 50 Cent Shooting

“We ain’t have nothing to do with that."

Ja Rule denied that Murda Inc. had anything to do with 50 Cent’s shooting in 2000.

Ja Rule spoke about his relationship with his biggest enemy on The Breakfast Club when he was asked about the shooting, prompting him to respond with “What shooting?”

“We ain’t have nothing to do with that,” said Ja Rule. “I know people like to say that. I know the reality of it all and that shit ain’t got nothing to do with us. But I guess it’s good to play that when they want to play that, and play victim when they want to play victim.”

“I leave all that alone,” continued Ja Rule. “I live in a really cool space. Sometimes, you’ve got to remove yourself from the circus.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Ja Rule revealed how he felt when 50 spoke on Irv Gotti’s death.

“It’s goofy shit," Ja said. "'Cause I was hot. I was ready to go nuclear and shit ... Preme said, ‘You know, Rule? Here’s what you gotta understand about who we are and what we are: We are the masters of self-defense.’ I said, ‘I love that,’ because I don’t want to start or make trouble with people, but if we gotta get into it … I’ll fuckin’ end it.”

“That’s who we are as men,” Ja Rule continued. “Here to protect our family, protect our home, defend our honor, our names, our reputation. I’m not here to be a bully and bother people. That’s not what I’m here to do but I am a master of self-defense.”

Ja Rule also claimed that he rarely mentions 50 Cent in public but will sometimes respond when he trolls.

“He keeps it going,” Ja said about his and 50’s beef. “I’ll go to the circus once in a while. I really like to stay clear of that shit …. I like to have fun sometimes. I poke jabs at him, too, but that’s all that really is. To me, it’s silly. We’re both successful Black men and I think the focus should be on continuing to make sure that we pay it forward.”
