A former G-Unit affiliate has claimed that he once witnessed Tony Yayo getting smacked during a dice game.
In a new interview with Cam Capone News shared on Saturday (May 23), rapper Domination — who often collaborated with fellow ex-G-Unit affiliate Bang 'Em Smurf — reflected on his relationship with Yayo after revealing that they met each other when they were young.
"I’ve known Tony since I was a kid," he said (around the seven-minute mark in the clip below). "We met on the block."
After the host brought up the "big homie" term in reference to Domination and Yayo’s relationship, Dom (real name Donnell Coleman) made it crystal clear that their relationship was nothing like that.
"He never was my big homie," he explained. "Never looked up to him in my life. It wasn’t much to look up to. He was just an ordinary hustler on the block."
Later in the interview (around 13 minutes in), Domination opened up about supposedly seeing Yayo get slapped and what happened afterwards.
"Tony Yayo was at a dice game, and he was rolling dice with somebody," Domination claimed. "It went left, he got smacked, and guns came out. It was a wild, wild west situation."
In other Tony Yayo news, the G-Unit rapper announced earlier this month that the G-Unit Reebok sneakers are gearing up to make a return to shelves.
Yayo broke the news during an episode of The Real Report podcast he co-hosts with Uncle Murda. "We got some big news," he said. "The G-Unit sneakers are coming back. Shoutout to Reebok."
The return of the kicks comes two years after fans began speculating they would after 50 Cent was spotted wearing the OG G6 in a promotional video for the G-Unit brand.
That same year, Shaquille O’Neal, who is the president of Reebok Basketball, issued a direct message to 50 about the shoe during an episode of Complex's Sneaker Shopping, saying: "50, when I call you, holla… We definitely want to give the fans and the consumers what they want."
