Diddy was reportedly taken from federal detention to a hospital last week after he experienced knee pain.
TMZ reports that Sean "Diddy" Combs was taken to a medical facility from the Metropolitan Detention Center, Brooklyn in New York City on Thursday. Diddy, who has a history of knee issues due to competing in the New York City Marathon, reportedly received an MRI.
The New York Post reports that, according to an insider, the hospital visit was conducted late at night to avoid any speculation from prison staff or other inmates.
Sources claimed that after the MRI, Combs was taken back to his cell.
Diddy’s visit to the doctor came around the same time that a superseding indictment was issued in regard to his arrest on racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges.
The updated indictment includes two more victims on whom Diddy allegedly “used force, threats of force, and coercion to cause the three women ... to engage in commercial sex acts." One of the women was previously identified as Cassie Ventura, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend who accused him of abuse in a lawsuit that has been settled.
Prosecutors also added two drugs, psilocin and methamphetamine, to those that Diddy and others allegedly possessed “with the intent to distribute,” and gave new details about Diddy’s alleged violent behavior.
“On multiple occasions, Combs threw both objects and people, as well as hit, dragged, choked and shoved others,” the indictment says. “On one occasion, Combs dangled a victim over an apartment balcony.”
The updated filing lengthens the time period of Diddy’s alleged criminal conduct from 2008 to 2004. Diddy’s attorney argued that it is very similar to the prosecutors’ original indictment.
A few days ago, an extensive report from Rolling Stone detailed the experience of one of the women accusing Diddy of sexual misconduct. The woman, identified as Nicole in the report, said that the last time she was with him in person, Diddy allegedly “shoved two pills into her mouth,” which made her black out.
She said when she came to, she discovered "a destroyed room, with empty baby oil bottles, a hookah, towels, food, and wine bottles strewn everywhere."
