Cardi B says she’ll sue TMZ if the publication doesn’t remove a video of her falling after dancing on a robot—though it’s hard to tell if she’s being serious.
Cardi’s threat comes after the media outlet posted a video of her recent encounter with one lucky robot in San Francisco. In the now-viral video, Cardi can be seen sensually dancing around the unperturbed tech as it stands at full attention.
She moves from the back of the robot to the front, then grabs its shoulders. She accidentally pulls the robot forward—or the robot comes alive to embrace its new crush.
Either way, Cardi tumbles backward and lands on her backside with a laugh. She then gets helped up by the shocked crowd.
After TMZ posted the video, Cardi wrote that she was “callin Harvey,” referring to the publication’s founder Harvey Levin.
“Delete or I will sue …immediately,” she wrote.
It’s Cardi’s latest run-in with an increasingly artificially intelligent world. She also recently expressed her frustration at her older relatives’ interactions with AI on Facebook.
The platform, of course, runs rampant with AI masquerading as real life, from photo filters to videos that can trick people into believing wild conspiracy theories.
“Free my older family members from Facebook Ai,” the rapper wrote.
