Bobby Brown thinks that Chris Brown is closer to Michael Jackson than Usher is.
Brown gave his thoughts on the hot topic while speaking with Shannon Sharpe on the Club Shay Shay podcast. “I would go with Chris Brown,” the singer explained. “Chris Brown is a dancer, singer, and great entertainer. He goes out there and he does the ultimate stuff on stage.”
Brown then doubled down on his thoughts while acknowledging that Usher is extremely talented. “Usher is also a great entertainer, but I’ve gotta go with Chris for being as close to Michael as anybody could ever get,” said Brown.
Reflecting on their relationship, Brown explained how he met Usher when he was 12 years old. “I had a security guard who found Usher, and he brought him to the show,” said Brown. “He was just always around. He brought him to be around me and learn what this thing of ours is all about.”
Chris Brown’s legendary, Jackson-esque dance moves are currently on display in his Breezy Bowl XX tour, which celebrates him being in the music game for 20 years.
Last month, Brown announced the tour, which’ll feature Summer Walker for its North America stops, on Instagram.
“So excited to be able to share this moment with the world and my amazing fans,” Brown said. “I can’t wait to see all y’all's beautiful faces. I’mma take y’all through these eras, but most importantly give y’all my heart and soul.”
Brown wants everyone to have a blast at his tours, but he has one piece of advice for fans — don’t come to the show wearing red bandanas. “I don’t want people to get the wrong impression and promote the wrong thing!” wrote Brown in a separate post.
