50 Cent thinks that Lil Durk is going to beat his murder-for-hire case since he hired a high-powered attorney.

Fif hopped on Instagram yesterday (Nov. 14) and posted a picture of the powerful lawyer Drew Findling, who’s represented artists like Lil Baby and Cardi B.

"Lil Durk got Drew Findling on the case he sharp,” Fif wrote. “if [the prosecution] didn’t cross their T’s and dot their i’s he gonna hit the bricks again.”

Fif has made it clear that he’s in Durk’s corner. Late last month, the media mogul spoke about a conversation that he had with the rapper while on The Breakfast Club, explaining that he told him to watch his back with the people around him.

"With Durk, I was telling him when he was in New York [when] we did the Power theme [song]. I was like, 'This is them? They the real shit?' He was like, 'Yeah, yeah.' And I said, 'Yo, just watch them.' His crew."

Fif then explained that how Durk responded to his suggestion let him know that Durk questioned the people around him. "He said, 'You know what? Somebody just came to my house. How did they know exactly what my address is? Who has my address? Nobody.'"

Initially, Durk was charged with the conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire in a situation that killed rapper Quando Rondo’s cousin. A superseding indictment filed earlier this month has charged him with two other crimes: one count of use of interstate facilities to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death, and one count of using, carrying, and discharging firearms and a machine gun and possession of such firearms in furtherance of a crime of violence resulting in death.

If convicted, Lil Durk could spend a lot of time behind bars. Though the sentence for the federal charge can vary depending on the severity of the alleged criminal activity, the U.S. Department of Justice criminal resource manual states that the penalty is ten years and a fine for any violation, twenty years and a fine of the murder-for-hire plot results in injury, and life imprisonment or the death penalty and a $250,000 fine if someone is killed in the plot.
