Surveillance footage has been released of a 2020 shooting allegedly involving YFN Lucci.

As previously reported, Lucci, 33, was initially arrested in connection with the fatal shooting back in January 2021. Later that year, the Atlanta-born Wish Me Well 3 artist was named in a Fulton County RICO indictment. In January, it was reported that Lucci had struck a plea deal.

The newly surfaced surveillance clip from WSB-TV shows a white vehicle driving past a man in a neon shirt who appears to be cleaning his car. At one point, a person with a gun is seen firing from the white vehicle. The footage, which includes two separate angles, does not show Lucci, but he has been alleged to have been the driver during the incident.

Lucci’s release is now imminent, though it may still take several months. According to WSB-TV, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis stated in a June 11-dated letter that her office "does not object" to Lucci being released when eligible for parole or after serving a third of his sentence, "whichever comes first."

When news of the plea agreement emerged in January, Lucci's lawyers confirmed in a statement that their client would not be cooperating "in any other case" moving forward.

"After three years of pretrial litigation, more than two weeks of jury selection and three years of incarceration waiting for his jury trial, today, the prosecution finally relented and dismissed the murder and RICO charges against [Lucci]," lawyers said in January, per the Associated Press.

At that time, it was estimated that Lucci could be looking at a parole-enabled release as soon as late May, though that ultimately didn't happen.
