The artist formerly known as Kanye West told fans he has “hit women before” when mentioning Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Diddy amid another series of X updates on Sunday.

“Let me start by saying I have hit women before,” Ye said in an update to his official X account on Sunday, the same day Kendrick headlined the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show in New Orleans. “Drake said Kendrick hit his girl. But that is not recorded on tape like the Puff video. I am in L.A. right now at the Four Seasons. I am risking my life to tweet this.”

From there, Ye said more about Kendrick and Diddy both, at one point describing “celebrities” at large as “scared and selfish.”

In “Family Matters,” one of several songs released during Kendrick and Drake’s 2024 feud, Drake raps, “When you put your hands on your girl, is it self-defense 'cause she bigger than you?” To be clear, this claim came during a rap beef.

Meanwhile, Diddy is indeed currently behind bars, although not in connection with footage of him assaulting former romantic partner Cassie. Instead, he's in custody in connection with a trafficking and racketeering case that's set to go to trial this May.

These latest X updates from Ye come after several days’ worth of inflammatory remarks, including instances of Ye describing himself as “a Nazi” and again expressing “love” for Hitler, whose fascist regime killed millions of Jews in the Holocaust.
