Kanye West Defends XXXTentacion on Posthumous Collaboration

Skins, X's brisk third studio album, was posthumously released in December and features the Kanye West x Travis Barker collab "One Minute" and more. The album opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking his second album to top the charts. Following his murder outside of a motorcycle dealership in Florida last year, the debate surrounding X's history of alleged abuse continued with the surfacing of secretly recorded audio.

J. Cole addressed the related criticisms aimed at those still embracing the musical legacy during an XXLinterview back in March, arguing that he supports "accountability culture" but not outright "cancel culture."
