In support of her recent free albumMiley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz, Miley Cyrus kicked off her tour with the Flaming Lips in Chicago on Thursday. In an act of musical kindness for all those who will sadly miss the tour's limited routing, Miley decided to gift Facebook with the premiere of her new video for Dead Petz standout "Lighter."
Noting that the track was an apparent "fan favorite," Miley shared the video alongside a caption revealing that she split directing duties on the project between herself and Wayne Coyne of the aforementioned Flaming Lips. The clip also features delightfully trippy projections from Jen Stark, adding a decidedly kaleidoscopic vibe to the proceedings.
Fittingly, some rolled smokeables also make a cameo.
