Tyler, the Creator All Good After Crashing Tesla Into Parked Car

Tyler, the Creator is fine after crashing his Tesla into a parked car in Los Angeles early Thursday.

Tyler drove his Tesla Model X into a parked car near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Veteran Avenue early Thursday, according to NBC Los Angeles. Local police and fire department officers responded to the scene around 12:30 a.m. PT. At the time of the collision, the other car—reported by TMZ to be a Honda CR-V—was pushed approximately 50 feet from its original location.

"Tyler, the Creator hit my car," the owner of the Honda toldBlast affiliates. "That's crazy. I wasn't even here. I didn't even look at the police report but I got it right here." Asked how he felt about the accident, the individual mentioned the "decent check" he believes he'll be getting. "This is like the second time my car's been, like, it's totaled for sure," he said. "This is the second time, so I was like 'Damn' at first, but [when I found out] Tyler the Creator hit it, probably gonna get a decent check."

Tyler is said to have left his info at the scene for the Honda owner. No injuries were reported.

Earlier this week, the full version of Tyler, the Creator and Danny Elfman's rework of "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" was released to streaming services. The song is taken from next month's The Grinch, a computer-animated reimagining of the classic 1957 Dr. Seuss story. Benedict Cumberbatch, Pharrell Williams, Kenan Thompson, Rashida Jones, and Angela Lansbury are among the talent contributing their voices to the Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment production.
