Tidal Subscriptions Will Only Set You Back $0.00 Over the Holidays

Now that we've officially hit crunch time for Xmas-observing humans looking to score gifts for friends and family that aren't entirely devoid of value, it's time to start thinking about what really matters during the holidays: your fucking self. Hopefully, you've set aside $0.00 to grab yourself something nice this year.

For that price, you can bag 12 days of Tidal. Starting Dec. 25, a seemingly arbitrary date, prospective Tidalers can access the streaming platform’s Hi-Fi and Premium services using an email address. Amazingly, no credit card is required.

"Heading into 2018, we're looking forward to giving Tidal members more access and a high-quality soundtrack to everyday life," Tony Gervino, Tidal's VP of Culture and Content, said Friday. "We value what music and music culture means to people and trust this preview will give music fans a taste of the elevated music experience that Tidal is offering its customers."

In addition to providing full access to Tidal's catalog of bangers, the 12-day feat of generosity will also be bolstered by a new episode of Rap Radar; the premiere of Rough Draft; a Snoh Aalegra documentary; fresh New Year's Eve-themed playlists; and so much more. Get the full rundown here.

2017 has been another exclusives-filled year for the streaming platform. Back in June, Jay Z shared his new album 4:44 as a Tidal-only stream before later extending the release to include Apple Music and others. Jay also premiered a series of 4:44 visuals on Tidal, including the Friends-nodding “Moonlight” starring Issa Rae and Lakeith Stanfield.
