If you're already feeling exhausted by Taylor Swift's Reputation era, then the next three years are going to feel long as hell. Early Monday, mere hours after Swift released a second track off her forthcoming new album, TMZruined my morning matcha by revealing that Swift was gearing up for even more Reputation merch by filing a ton of catchphrase trademarks.
Swift has reportedly filed trademarks on "a bunch of titles and catchphrases" related to Reputation, including the "Look What You Made Me Do" centerpiece "The old Taylor can't come to the phone right now." For those who've managed to avoid "Look What You Made Me Do" so far, the full line goes like this:
The lyrics, according to TMZ's very thin report, will be plastered on a variety of tour merchandise. Fans should expect to see T-shirts, guitar picks, bags, jewelry, notebooks, and "pretty much any other accessory." Though the "old Taylor"-branded merch hasn't been revealed, Swift has made a few Reputation pieces available on her official website, including a black phone stand that says "rep" on it. There's also a couple of snake-themed pieces available, if that's something you're into.
Swift's latest Reputation entry "…Ready for It?" was released Sunday following a tease during some sort of a sporting event involving Florida State and Alabama.
