Watch Shakira Mouth the Words to SZA’s “Kill Bill” After Ex Gerard Piqué Goes IG Official With GF

Shakira didn't pass up the moment to make a timely statement on Valentine's Day, complete with a TikTok and IG-shared clip featuring a certain SZA hit.

Shakira isn’t letting Valentine’s Day slip by without commemorating the occasion in a decidedly headlineable fashion.

Indeed, on Tuesday, Shakira shared a clip to TikTok and Instagram in which she’s seen mouthing the words to SZA’s ubiquitous SOS track “Kill Bill.” More specifically, Shakira opted to zero in on the song’s chorus, which goes (in part) “I might kill my ex, not the best idea.” You should know the rest by now.

While lip-syncing to the song, Shakira is seen mopping in her kitchen. At the end of the clip, she lets out a timely laugh. See more below.

SZA went on to repost the clip on her Stories, writing, “Not cleaning the murder scene 😭 I LOVE YOU SHAKIRAAAA😩😩😩🤍.”

Of course, the attention on the clip is hitting the level it’s hitting (i.e. more than a million likes on IG in two hours and more than 3 million views on TikTok in the same amount of time) due to the continued headlines mania surrounding Shakira’s split from Gerard Piqué.

As those closely following the ever-expanding story already know, a jar of strawberry jam has found itself (allegedly) at the center of the break-up, which came more than a decade after the two first met on the set of Shakira’s “Waka Waka” video shoot. While the split was initially confirmed in a joint statement from the former couple in June of last year, the more juicier (alleged) details came in the months after.
