Rowdy Rebel Returns With Video for New Song "Woo Nina"

Rowdy Rebel is back with a new song titled "Woo Nina," with G-Train Productions handling the track's video. It follows the April drop of "Rowdy vs. Rebel."

As promised, Friday brought with it something new from Rowdy Rebel.

In addition to rolling out his new track “Woo Nina,” Rowdy also enlisted G-Train Productions for its official video. The video was shot by Justin D’Orazio, with additional footage provided by @bellcaps and Frank Bonilla. The track, meanwhile, is produced by Luca Beats and Ara Beats.

Stream “Woo Nina” below via Spotify.

The “Woo Nina” release follows the April drop of “Rowdy vs. Rebel,” the official video for which depicts a Strange Case of Dr, Jekyll and Mr. Hyde-esque conversation between selves. The video, directed by Damien Sandoval, was premiered by BET via a billboard in Times Square.

In December of last year, Rowdy made headlines after publicly calling out his label Epic Records, alleging in a since-removed social media post that he hasn’t received “one check for all the music I put out since 2014.” Amid coverage of Rowdy’s comments at the time, which also included mention of refraining from new releases until these alleged issues were resolved, Meek Mill chimed in with the suggestion of sticking to a more mixtape-driven release strategy.

That same month, Rowdy Rebel and Quavo were tapped by Bobby Shmurda for the track “Shmoney.” The collab’s celebratory video, also directed by the aforementioned Sandoval, is well worth a rewatch:
