Rihanna Pregnant, Expecting First Child With ASAP Rocky

Rihanna and ASAP Rocky have been romantically linked for quite some time now, with Rocky previously stating that RiRi was the love of his life.

Rihanna showed off a baby bump in NYC over the weekend, with subsequent reports stating the Anti singer is expecting her first child with ASAP Rocky.

Per People, Rihanna and Rocky appeared in a number of NYC-set photos, with the former showing a baby bump while wearing a long pink jacket and distressed jeans. Along with her pink puffer coat from Chanel’s Fall/Winter 1996 collection, Riri can be seen rocking a gold Rolex King Midas.

While neither ASAP or Rihanna have officially confirmed the pregnancy, ASAP Mob’s official Twitter account posted a photo of the couple.

Congrats to the happy couple. Complex has reached out to a rep for Rihanna for comment and will update this post accordingly.

Since the announcement, Riri’s father Ronald Fenty has told Page Six that he’s “ecstatic” for his daughter. He first met Rocky in late 2020 when Rihanna brought him to Barbados, and from his experience with the rapper, he says he is “a very cool guy.” Fenty found out that he’s going to be a grandfather on Sunday.

“I’m so happy that I jumped for joy. I’m still so excited,” he said. “Rihanna always said that she wanted children, she loves kids. She always takes care of her cousins’ kids… She’s going to be a good mom.”

As fans will recall, Rocky called Rihanna “the love of my life” in a GQinterview in May 2021. In the same interview, the 2021 ComplexCon headliner proclaimed “she’s the one.” Rocky also elaborated on how he and Rihanna have mutually inspired each other’s respective creativity, with Rocky stating that his upcoming All Smiles album was “absolutely” influenced by the Savage X Fenty founder.

Rihanna, meanwhile, has been prolific in recent years with the continued expansion of the Savage X Fenty brand. Most recently, fans were alerted to the rollout of physical retail locations, including an inaugural spot in Vegas. Also this month, Rihanna—through her Clara Lionel Foundation—announced a $15 million donation toward climate justice in the form of partnerships with multiple climate-focused organizations.

In September, Rihanna gave fans an update on the status of her long-teased Anti follow-up, comparing the creative process behind the new songs to the same approach she uses for fashion work. “You’re not gonna expect what you hear,” she said at the time. “Just put that in your mind.”
