Pooh Shiesty, who earlier this month was reported to have pleaded guilty to a lone firearms conspiracy charge in connection with an alleged October 2020 robbery incident, has been denied bond until sentencing.

The move, notably, is in opposition to Shiesty’s proposal of a bond that would have included “unspecified monitoring, limited visitation, and drug and alcohol treatment.” Per a paperless order signed by Magistrate Judge Lauren Fleischer Louis and viewed by Complex, the Shiesty Season artist has been detained following an evidentiary hearing.

In support of his motion, Shiesty noted he was now facing lesser charges than those he had previously been facing, while also pointing out his “well-known reputation” as an artist. Per the order, Shiesty is “not entitled to a renewed bond determination” following his guilty plea to Count One of the superseding indictment.

Here’s more, straight from the Louis-signed order dated Jan. 13:

A few weeks back, Rolling Stonereported that the 22-year-old artist was no longer facing a felony count in Miami-Dade County in connection with an alleged shooting at a Florida strip club. The state case in question was dropped following Shiesty having pleaded guilty to one firearms conspiracy charge in connection with a separate alleged incident, i.e. a reported robbery at a hotel back in 2020. As part of the resulting deal, prosecutors dropped additional counts, most notably including one that carried with it the potential for a life sentence.
