UPDATED 7/18, 12:05 a.m. ET: Britney has requested that Ozzy "kindly fuck off!!!"

The five-slide Notes app reply can be read on Spears' Instagram. Highlights include calling the Osbournes "the most boring family known to mankind," and, "Number 1) I hardly ever dance, and number 2) I'm not poor at all!!!"

The Prince of Darkness is sharing his take on Britney Spears' recent social media presence, calling her dance-focused clips "very sad."

Ozzy Osbourne's comments came as he and Sharon, Jack, and Kelly took on a round of fan-submitted questions during the opening minutes of a new episode of the family's The Osbournes podcast. While the question itself wasn't about Spears, and was instead centered on whether or not the family had any interest in dabbling in TikTok dance trends, the topic spurred an observation from the 75-year-old former Black Sabbath frontman.

"I’m fed up with seeing poor old Britney Spears [dancing]," Ozzy said. "Every fucking day. You know, it’s sad. Very, very sad." The rock legend’s family echoed his assessment of the clips as falling squarely in the "sad" category, with wife Sharon, who last year joined her husband in calling out Ye over an uncleared "Iron Man" sample, describing the situation at large as a "heartbreaking" one.

In a recent Instagram update, Spears, whose post-conservatorship book The Woman In Me proved to be an immediate hit upon its release last October, was seen dancing to Madonna’s 2012 MDNA cut "I’m Addicted." As the 42-year-old pop icon explained in the caption, that particular clip was "a throwback" from last year.

"I guess I need to brace myself and slow down and recap the past year because I think had a false confidence after my divorce," Spears told fans, adding that this period in her life brought about several "WTF moments."

The "divorce" mentioned in Spears' recent IG post marks a reference to her 2023 split from Sam Asghari, which was finalized with news of a settlement in May of this year.
