Not only was Nicki Minaj not aware of the pushback her Rosa Parks reference in "Yikes" received from some listeners, she has zero regrets about the whole thing.

That's the takeaway from a clarification Minaj offered fans via an IG Story update overnight. When sharing a screenshot of a story citing TMZ's report that alleged Minaj was "aware of the heat she's been catching" and that the timing of the track's tease was merely a coincidence, the out-of-retirement Queen artist disputed the claims.

"Never said this," Minaj said. "Had no clue anyone was mad. Don't care. #Yikes."

Speaking of TMZ, the site ran a report on Thursday featuring comments on the lyric from the Rosa and Raymond Parks Institute for Self Development.

Executive Director Anita Peek is said to have told the site that, if Rosa Parks were alive today, she'd be "extremely hurt" by the lyric. They also quoted nephew William McCauley, who called the lyric "heartbreaking and disrespectful."

It's been a busy few days in the world of Minaj. Not only is new music indeed imminent, but Minaj also made a point to publicly call out Meek Mill. Amid the tweeted comments were accusations of abuse, which Mill quickly denied while alleging that Minaj "been knew your brother was raping that little girl."

Also on Wednesday, Minaj took part in a live Q&A with manager Irving Azoff in Beverly Hills during which she looked back on her catalog and named a selection of songs she wishes she had never made.

"I wish I never recorded 'Anaconda,'" she said. "I like the video but, eh. My first ever solo song on Billboard was 'Your Love.' I like the video but I hate the song. I hate 'Starships' . . . I was like, 'Why did I do that?'"

At any rate, "Yikes" is expected to be released this week:
