Meek Mill just got some really bad news. Although the Philadelphia rapper has been busy during his court-ordered house arrest visiting area schools and assisting with Flint's ongoing water crisis, TMZreports these efforts at garnering community service hours simply aren't enough. In fact, Meek has reportedly been hit with another eight days of house arrest.

Sources "close" to Meek tell TMZ he wasn’t doing the "right kind" of community service, citing court documents that ordered Meek to complete 90 days of service with Habitat for Humanity, senior citizens, veterans groups, and homeless shelters. Though Meek's camp disputes the clarity of these requirements, TMZ claims to have seen them "in black and white."

Meek, who was originally scheduled to be released Wednesday, will have his case reevaluated by Philadelphia officials after the required community service is completed in full. The storied MMG artist has kept himself busy during his 90-day house arrest, with initial worries of him being banned from releasing music finally put to rest in April. The catch? Meek could only release music for free.

In May, Meek took a few shots at frequent rival Drake on a Fabolous-assisted remix of Fat Joe and Remy Ma's "All the Way Up." Will Meek use his extended house arrest to hop back in the studio? Stay tuned.
