Master P is keeping details of what he has planned for the No Limit Records and Cash Money Records Verzuz at ComplexCon 2025 close to the chest, at least for now.
Speaking with Complex’s Jordan Rose for a new interview released Thursday, Oct. 23, the No Limit founder detailed his view of the much-anticipated ComplexCon event, set for Oct. 25 in Las Vegas, as more of a celebration of the city of New Orleans than a competition.
“We’re still able to get together, get on stage, and do this and celebrate the city of New Orleans,” P told Complex. “We’ve been celebrating each other for a long time and to be able to do this with Cash Money, we definitely gotta celebrate them. We definitely two companies that came up in New Orleans and created empires. So my hats go off to Birdman and Cash Money, as well as my No Limit army, all my soldiers, everybody that represented us for so long.”
P continued, “It’s all about having integrity, growing. Don’t be afraid to grow up because a lot of people are afraid to grow up. We are not afraid to grow up and get better and get wiser. I put my trust and faith in God and I think that’s what I love about what’s about to happen in the next couple days.”
While he didn’t get specific, the rap star and prolific entrepreneur did hint at his expectations for the Verzuz relaunch while reiterating the celebratory spirit at its core.
“Y’all got to come to the show, man,” he said. “The soldiers gon’ be in the building. I’m just telling y’all. No Limit has been around a long time.”
Later, he teased a bit more, again keeping his wording enticingly vague.
“It’s gon’ be good,” he added. “That’s the only thing I can tell y’all. It’s gon’ be crazy. You just never know who gon’ show up with No Limit.”
Of course, the Verzuz relaunch is far from the only highlight on this year's ComplexCon lineup. Attendees can also expect performances from Young Thug, Yeat & Friends, Clipse, Peso Pluma, Ken Carson, Central Cee, and 2hollis.
