Surely sensing that many people would awake this morning, on the 17th of October, with an appetite for a distinctly Atlanta-flavored tribute to Gucci Mane and the 1017 Records crew, iLoveMakonnen just shared exactly that in the form of "Big Gucci." The track, produced by frequent Makonnen collaborator Richie Souf, nicely whips OVO-cosigned southern charm into a proper nod to Big Gucci on a most appropriate date:
After a whirlwind year spent supporting his breakout EP and the certified thirst-quenching Drink More Water 5, Makonnen is spending the remaining months of 2015 by apparently unleashing a windstorm of new music. As previously reported, he's currently in the throes of sporadically releasing tracks from his spontaneous mixtape with Rich the Kid entitled Whip It. "Big Gucci" producer Richie Souf also had a hand in the recently released Whip It cut "Tequila Me," featuring a refrain you will probably definitely hear the next time someone tequilas you.
