Lil Pump Ends Extremely Brief Retirement

"Bitch I'm back," Pump told fans just days after claiming to "quit" music.

Mere days after saying in an Instagram Story update that he was "done" with the whole music thing, Lil Pump has shared a new update on the status of his quasi-retirement, which has apparently already subsided.

On Monday, Pump told fans "Bitch I'm back" and joked that his followers had probably assumed he had indeed actually "quit" music:

In short, it would appear this was all crafted in the name of promoting the presumably soon release of a new song. Last November, Pump declared himself "the hottest rapper out right now" and, more specifically, "the hottest rapper in the planet."

We are now nearly a full year removed from the release of Pump's sophomore studio album Harverd Dropout, which featured the once-ubiquitous (and notably pre-Jesus Is King) Kanye West collab "I Love It," as well as the Lil Wayne-assisted "Be Like Me." The album drop was followed by the release of a several one-offs including "Pose to Do" with French Montana and Quavo and "Shopping Spree" with Murda Beatz and Sheck Wes.
