Lil Pump is accused of punching and kicking a man, as well as forcibly cutting his hair and smacking him in the face with a condom, in a lawsuit recently filed in connection with streamer Vitaly Zdorovetskiy’s Catching Predators series.
The allegations, as first spotted by In Touch Weekly, stem from a complaint for damages and demand for jury trial from a man by the name of Edwin Valenzuela, who says he was working as an Uber driver when he first came into contact with two unnamed individuals who wanted a ride in August. These two individuals, per the 29-page complaint, used the driver’s phone “to play music by Lil Pump.” At one point, they allegedly asked Valenzuela if he had any interest in making extra money by cleaning a boat.
From there, Valenzuela says that he gave the two individuals his information and was later contacted about a meeting. The plaintiff alleges he was then “lured onto a vessel” in Miami, where he was “secretly” being recorded and streamed. Inside the vessel, Valenzuela alleges to have been “ambushed” by Zdorovetskiy, Pump, and MMA fighter Colby Covington.
After allegedly ambushing him, Valenzuela alleges that the three then “read aloud fake text messages purportedly showing [him] engaged in sexually explicit conversations with a minor.” The docs further allege that Valenzuela doesn’t speak English, meaning that he “had no understanding” of what was allegedly transpiring at the time.
Pump is specifically accused of having “punched” and “kicked” the plaintiff in the head, “forcibly cut his hair,” and “smacked him in the face with a condom.” The three together, meanwhile, are alleged to have tried threatening Valenzuela into ingesting a condom. Zdorovetskiy, Pump, and Covington are also accused of threatening to feed the plaintiff “to the gators” if he tried to leave the scene.
The complaint goes on to detail additional instances of “degrading” behavior, including alleged use of racial slurs and harassing remarks regarding the plaintiff’s nationality. Furthermore, Zdorovetskiy is said to have “encouraged” his viewers to take part in distributing clips of Valenzuela, which he argues has contributed significantly to his “humiliation and defamation.”
Online records list the date of filing for the civil complaint as Sept. 6. Multiple defendants are named, including: Zdorovetskiy, VitalyzdTV Inc., Pump, Covington, Anthony Alvarez, John Does 1 and 2, MYX Yachts LLC, and Easygo Entertainment. The estimated amount of the claim is listed as being more than $100,000. Among the assortment of allegations made in the docs are civil conspiracy, assault, battery, false imprisonment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and civil theft.
As of this writing, the defendants have not spoken publicly about the allegations.
