Lil Jon, already an icon of crunk, can now add Muscle Beach Venice glory to his stacked list of accomplishments.

As the Crunk Rock artist celebrated on social media, Jon recently bagged a third-place finish in the outdoor bodybuilding competition. Per TMZ, Jon competed in the men’s physique category.

“Thanks to all that supported me on this journey,” Jon said on Instagram along with multiple shoutouts, including one for his trainer Jay Galvin.

The Muscle Beach Championship competitions take place on Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. Jon competed in the latter, ultimately putting up a strong enough performance to bag his own medal.

In recent months, Galvin has documented Jon’s fitness journey on social media, at one point praising him as a “legend” who was poised to make history.

“Determination, dedication, and discipline has paid off,” Galvin said at the time, noting that Jon’s path from “the king of partying” to where he is now is “just unreal.”

On the music side of things, Jon's upcoming shows include stops at the Tacos and Tequilas festival in Omaha on Sept. 6 and several dates overseas with Mariah Carey.

His most recent album, Manifest Abundance, found the crunk innovator again tapping into the meditation space with an aim of inspiring “personal growth” among listeners.

ComplexCon returns to Las Vegas on October 25–26, 2025, with over 300 brands and live performances by Young Thug, YEAT & Friends, Peso Pluma, Central Cee, Ken Carson, and more. Get your tickets now.
