Lil Dicky says he’s “married to the love of my life” after his and Kristin Batalucco’s wedding earlier this year.
Thursday, Sept. 26, the Dave star and co-creator confirmed the marriage, following an Instagram update from guest Selena Gomez last month captioned, simply, “about last night’s wedding.” Gomez’s partner, Dave alum Benny Blanco, was also in attendance, as seen in a slew of photos shared by Dicky, born David Burd.
“I got married to the love of my life!” Dicky wrote on Thursday, later tucking in a shoutout to John & Joseph Photography, Inc. and the Frannie Felder Hudson Events production company.
The wording is in line with a previous IG post from Dicky earlier this week, which read “I got engaged to the love of my life!”
Soundtracking the latest update, as seen below, was Frank Ocean’s Blonde track “Godspeed.”
Congratulatory comments quickly poured in from Questlove, Jaret Reddick from Bowling for Soup, BEEF creator Lee Sung Jin, Dave actress and “Pillow Talking” music video star Taylor Misiak, plus more.
Speaking with Zach Sang in April of last year, Dicky said that he and Kristin were first connected thanks to a Dave writer.
“I was just, like, endlessly online dating and not meeting anyone,” Dicky recalled when detailing where he was at in his life at that point. “To me, I was like, if you’re not my wife, it’s not worth it. Because I was so busy.”
