Lana Del Rey let fans know that she and her “one and only” are “very happy,” though they’ve recently been made the target of invasive paparazzi tactics.

In a series of comments left on a Lana fan-operated Instagram page on Wednesday, the Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd artist, who was recently reported to have married Louisiana-based tour boat captain Jeremy Dufrene, said that a “local couple” has been using drones and a tracker. Furthermore, Lana also identified a specific paparazzo, alleging that they’ve been following her through “remote” areas.

“Unfortunately, a local couple from Houma won’t stop flying drones into our windows every morning and following us with a tracker,” Lana shared in one comment.

In another, she shouted out her “amazing” partner.

“All that being said Jeremy is the one and only. And amazing,” she told fans. “And we’re very happy.”

However, a sense of safety isn’t possible under the current paparazzo-fueled circumstances, as Lana made clear.

“But if Sara Michelle Champagne and Kruesch (a famous New Orleans paparazzi) could stop switching vehicles following the family, and stop following us around remote parts of the country and photo shopping my wedding ring into a pearl, I know we would feel a lot safer,” she added.

Lana’s next album, tentatively titled Lasso, is expected to see the peerless world-builder digging deeper into her country influences. Longtime fans will note that operating in a more intentional country space is something that’s been a long time coming for Lana and company, as she and Jack Antonoff made headlines back in 2018 with their seemingly impromptu performance of “a couple of country songs” they had written together “just for fun.”

In April, Lana will return to Indio for the 2025 edition of the country-focused Stagecoach Festival. This year's headliners include Zach Bryan, Jelly Roll, and Luke Combs.
