After nearly three years of delays, Dame Dash's Honor Up is apparently on track for release. The film, which counts Kanye West as an executive producer, will now hit theaters in February 2018.
"This is really happening," Dame Dash wrote on Instagram Wednesday. "#HonorUp in theaters February #staytuned." Way back in 2015, Dame shared a trailer for the film, then titled Too Honorable. Honor Up also stars Cam'ron and Stacey Dash, who previously went from Clueless to "All Falls Down" to Fox News (?!?!?). According to Cam, the movie is dropping on Valentine's Day:
If the original trailer is still representative of the final product, we can also expect Honor Up appearances by Smoke DZA and Styles P.
Dame Dash has been hanging out in headlines in recent weeks thanks to a line from Cam'ron on the Dipset reunion track "Once Upon a Time":
"I could say that somebody definitely got smacked on the set of Paid in Full," Dame later toldTMZ. "I've never really liked the way Harvey treated my culture. I didn't like the way he talked to people. I ain't like the way he was treating my film. I've owned clubs with him, and a lot of things that were being alleged, everyone knew what was going on."
