Now Jacquees' "Trip" Remix Is Gone From Pornhub Too

For a brief moment, the Jacquees rework of Ella Mai's "Trip" was available on Pornhub after being removed from YouTube and SoundCloud.

Pornhub, any reasonable person's go-to for easily accessible adult material and rare Jacquees remixes, has unfortunately joined streaming services in the fight against "Trip."

Almost immediately after several outlets, including this one, informed fans that Jacquee's take on Ella Mai's "Trip" had been uploaded to Pornhub by a generous user, TMZ spotted that the track had also been removed from that service. Pornhub reportedly took down the upload "for fear of a lawsuit," following similar moves from SoundCloud and YouTube in the wake of cease-and-desist warnings. Bummer.

"As is the case with anything that infringes copyright, we removed the Jacquees 'Trip' remix from our platform as soon as we were made aware of it," Pornhub VP Corey Price told Complex in a statement Tuesday afternoon.

In a statement to Billboard addressing the "Trip" remix's initial scrubbing from SoundCloud and YouTube, a Jacquees rep said there was "no reason" for the controversy. "This was an act of genuine support and should not turn into negativity for either of the artists or from their supporters," the rep said last week.

All that aside, Jacquees is looking ahead. Tuesday, just as the Pornhub news broke, Jacquees dropped the official visual for "23." Catch the video, co-directed by BPace Productions and Jacquees, below:

Back in June, Jacquees shared his debut album 4275, featuring "23" as well as guest spots from Young Thug, Birdman, and more. "The album is not an autobiography, with me talking about my life," Jacquees told Complex of the album, which takes its name from the street address of his childhood home in Decatur, Georgia. "I'm just telling you how I'm cut."
