It's unclear when, exactly, the DM slide in question occurred.

While Drake fans await the release of his solo For All the Dogs follow-up Iceman, the title of which has multiple potential sources of inspiration, the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards nominee is complementing additional new album teases with a reveal of an apparently curved DM slide involving SSSniperWolf.

Below, for whatever such information could possibly be worth, we've taken the liberty of breaking down this development.

What did Drake say about SSSniperWolf?

During a recent stream with Adin Ross and xQc, Drake mentioned DMing SSSniperWolf, at first asking if it was Adin who “made” him do it.

“I was gonna ask if it was you that made me DM SSSniperWolf that one time,” Drake said.

After Adin said it wasn’t him, only to later express a bit of doubt, Drake elaborated.

“She told me that she had a man and then I was like, ‘Well, can we fight to the death?’” Drake claimed. “And then that was, I think that was the end of the DM.”

How did SSSniperWolf respond to Drake?

In an Instagram Stories update on Sunday, Aug. 10, SSSniperWolf did not directly mention Drake. However, what spurred her remarks was quite clear.

“Good morning,” she wrote, adding that she had “made headlines for leaving a rapper on read.”

As seen below, she also tucked in a parting “LOL.”
