UPDATED 8/4/22, 4:11 p.m. ET: The Young Money Reunion is back on for Saturday, August 6.

The new date was announced a short while after Drake previously informed fans that the show was being postponed due to the Honestly, Nevermind artist testing positive for COVID-19.

“Negative test…positive outcome…this was the only date available until the fall and because the family is so solid everybody is flying back in to make it happen for you all…SEE YOU SATURDAY…young moulaaa,” Drake wrote.

Drake is postponing his anticipated Young Money Reunion event due to COVID-19.

In a statement, Drake revealed he recently tested positive for COVID-19 and—due to this—he is going to reschedule the show with Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj.

“I am truly devastated to say that I tested positive for Covid and the Young Money Reunion show scheduled for tonight is being rescheduled to the SOONEST date possible,” Drake said in a statement shared to Instagram on Monday. “I will keep the city posted and share the new date whenever we have it locked. Until then I hope everyone stays safe and healthy and I love you all I am so sorry for letting you down on our weekend together and the moment I test negative I will give you everything I got on stage (except the Covid).”

Last month, Drake alerted fans to the impending three-day October World Weekend event in Toronto, which launched on July 28 with the All Canadian North Stars lineup and continued on Friday with a Chris Brown and Lil Baby show. Speaking to the sold-out crowd at last Thursday’s kickoff event, Drake declared the evening “the most important night of my life.”

Featured on the lineup for the All Canadian North Stars portion of the multi-day experience were Choclair, Maestro Fresh Wes, Jully Black, k-os, and more. See here for a full breakdown from Alex Nino Gheciu for Complex Canada.

In a playful move that at once celebrated his latest album (the June-released Honestly, Nevermind) while also nodding to his past work, Drake unveiled the Huge Fan of Your Old Stuff merch collection last week. For a detailed look at the pieces included in the latest drop, consult this link.
