Cardi B Is Ready to Get the Leash Out for Tomi Lahren Over 21 Savage Comments

Cardi B's "I will dog walk you" line gets a worthy sequel.

A lot of unconscionable bullshit happened this week, including arguably the most abysmal attempt at a Super Bowl halftime "show" in history. Also, 21 Savage was taken into ICE custody, at which point a bunch of idiots decided that joking about the very real Trumpism era issue of deportation was a thing that they should do.

One such person was Tomi Lahren (a.k.a. Toyota Lasagna, et al.), who had exactly the sort of eyeroll-inducing response we've come to expect from that side of things. In a tweet, she attempted to repurpose an instaclassic 21 Savage hook into a joke about that aforementioned very real issue of deportation. Though it pains me to do so, I've embedded that tweet below for clarity's sake. Feel free to scroll past it while ignoring every word.

Rather quickly, Cardi B—who previously told Lahren "I will dog walk you"—came through with a revisiting of that remark.

After which, Lahren responded.

Lahren then backtracked, telling Cardi that she's a fan of both hers and 21 Savage.

The tweets come after somebody reminded Lahren that she once attempted rapping "Bank Account," prompting her to say she "never said I wasn't a fan of his music!"

In more substantial Cardi-related news, the Album of the Year contender was named at the top of the month as one of the artists backing the Recording Academy's new inclusion initiative for women. The new Producer & Engineer Inclusion Initiative is also backed by 2 Chainz, Lady Gaga, Fall Out Boy, Post Malone, Katy Perry, and more.

As for ICE and 21, we should all know better by now than to just blindly trust what they say about anything.
