Cardi B Jokes She’s 'Dying' During Gym Session Days After Announcing Birth of Third Child: 'It’s Personal'

Cardi B told fans she was “dying” during a recent 30-minute workout following the birth of her third child.

As previously reported, the Grammy winner, whose long-teased Invasion of Privacy follow-up is expected soon, announced the Sept. 7 birth in an Instagram carousel last week. Included in the announcement were photos showing her holding the newborn, as well as pics of Offset, whom she was recently said to be divorcing, doing the same.

“I’m dying,” Cardi told fans in an IG Stories update on Sunday night. When sharing the footage, which showed her using what she described as a piece of StairMaster fitness equipment, Cardi noted that she was in the middle of a “late-night gym session” that featured “no heavy lifting, no weights.” Instead, she added, she was keeping her routine squarely in the “straight StairMaster” territory for the time being. Soon, however, she’ll be fully back at it with LVL Up founder Plemmie Lawson.

“Remember ladies, this is my third baby,” Cardi captioned the clip. “With my other two babies, I was still on bedrest on my first week postpartum.”

In a follow-up post, Cardi continued, celebrating 30 minutes of exercise with a nod to a certain meme.

As for that new album, we don't yet have an official title. Cardi, however, has provided a number of updates in the six years since Privacy became a Grammy-winning blockbuster. Most recently, Cardi tucked in a mention of the impending project while remarking that her back catalog was "still selling like good quality pussy."
