A misleadingly edited and inaccurately titled Access video interview with Cardi B is the subject of a fresh controversy.

As Cardi explained to fans in an extended Instagram Live update, the interview in question included a bit in which she explained why she often opts to spend precious time with her daughter instead of using that time to hit the studio.

That bit, however, was edited and removed from its context in the final version of the video. Furthermore, the title of the video—"Cardi B Admits Baby Kulture Calls Someone Else Mommy Because She Works So Much"—painted a critical picture of Cardi that she noted on Instagram is deceitfully crafted and wholly not true.

"Don't use my kid for fucking clickbait," Cardi said of the interview, which she noted would ensure she never gives Access an interview again. "Access Hollywood, suck my whole dick. Suck a dick. I hope your fucking mom catch AIDS, bitch."

Cardi added that the clickbait methods were designed to make her "look like I'm some wack ass mom," which is a false narrative she isn't going to let go unchecked. "Don't fucking cut half of the shit that I said about why I gotta spend time with my child," she said.

Cardi then took to Twitter to talk a bit more about the situation and say that she plans on "deleting" her social media accounts.

While Cardi has received pushback for the "mom catch AIDS" portion of her Access criticism (and went on to refuse to apologize), fans have also been supportive of the Hustlers star amid frustrations surrounding clickbait tactics:
