Beyoncé gave fans a rare and swiftly headlined look at some recent moments of picturesque relaxation with Jay-Z to commemorate her 43rd birthday.

As Thursday turned to Friday, the 32-time Grammy winner, who recently launched her family-honoring SirDavis whisky, shared not one but two carousels to Instagram showing everything from birthday balloons to cigars to breathtaking shots of a presumably private beach. Also featured prominently, of course, is the aforementioned whisky, crafted in the singer’s home state of Texas.

"I’m so grateful for another year," Bey told fans. "Thank you for the loving birthday wishes."

Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé’s trilogy-continuing eighth studio album, is still going strong nearly half a year since its release. The album, which opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in March, has now spent 22 total weeks on the chart and is frequently cited as having had an undeniable impact on the larger country scene, both in Nashville and beyond. In fact, the album’s ability to bring fresh eyes to oft-overlooked historical aspects of Americana and country music was cited as recently as this week at an Equal Access showcase at City Winery in Nashville featuring artists Denitia, Carmen Dianne, Angie K, Chris Housman, Julie Williams, The Kentucky Gentlemen, Shelly Fairchild, and Valerie Ponzio.

There has been extensive speculation that the final entry in the planned album trilogy will see Bey taking a similar approach with rock music's history, though this hasn't been confirmed. Back in April, fans had quite a bit of fun imagining who might be enlisted for a hypothetical Bey rock album, with Playboi Carti and blink-182 both among the names floated as possible collaborators.
