Just let the artist do their art. Jesus.

When you interfere with an artist's performance, you get what you deserve. That appears to be exactly what happened during a recent ASAP Rocky performance overseas, during which Rocky seemingly had his set cut short for unknown reasons. A fitting response ensued.

Tweeted footage of the incident, which has been ripped and shared across social media, did not clarify the exact nature of Rocky's performance. However, according to Chinese media, Rocky and the ASAP Mob team have been in Shanghai this week for an ASAP Nast show and an exhibition promoting the new app Innersect. The Innersect Music Festival runs from Oct. 5-7 and also includes Rich Chigga and Scott Campbell on the lineup.

Rocky will return to the U.S. later this month to continue ASAP Mob's extensive run in promotion of their (excellent) Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy. The collection, featuring appearances by Big Sean and Lil Uzi Vert, was cozy enough to land at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 upon its release back in August.

Rocky is also working on his "futuristic" new solo album, his first since 2015's At. Long. Last. ASAP. Speaking with the London Evening Standard last month, Rocky confirmed that LSD consumption has continued during writing and recording sessions for the anticipated follow-up. "They've been missing me, they've been waiting for me, they need some new music, they need some new sounds, new waves, new swag, new everything," Rocky said of the upcoming album three era. "And who's the man you go to for that? Yours truly. So I'm back, like I never left."
